Asayo Creative would like to extend our deepest gratitude and thanks to our friends, family, clients and everyone else who made this year's WalkMS Bridgeport, WalkMS Morgantown and RunMS Morgantown 5K events even more memorable than last year's!
At Asayo, we were extremely honored to be able to coordinate an event of this caliber and are incredibly pleased and humbled by the turnout.
Be sure to view video below, shot by Asayo Media's Chris Clutter. As 2013 continues and draws to a close, be sure to check the site frequently for news and information on our 2014 event!
Black Diamond Equipment Rental has bulldozed its way into the Marcellus/Utica shale industrial market in 2013 with a marketing blitz and branding campaign, accompanied by the concepts, designs and promotions provied by Asayo Creative.
An aggressive company primed to hit the ground running, Black Diamond's scope and goals for the future include projects and campaigns that run the full breadth of Asayo's services, from vehicle graphics to promotional items to logo and brochure design and more, all of which will be capped-off by an cutting-edge website.
Look for Black Diamond to be, well...everywhere you look in 2013. From branded vehicles to equipment decals all over the region, it will be hard to go anywhere this year without seeing the Black Diamond brand.
In its five years in Morgantown, Asayo Creative has been an ardent supporter of WVU Children's Hospital and continued the tradition this year with a Corporate Partner sponsorship of the event. In addition to the sponsorship of this wonderful annual event, Asayo worked with the Children's Hospital team to develop an upscale, 10-page newsletter that made its debut at the gala. The newsletter contains information about planned expansion efforts, testimonials, and information from patients, doctors and donors.

Since the world didn't end in December, Asayo Creative can return its focus to its constant underlying goal -- world domination. From January 1, 2008 to January 1, 2013, Asayo Creative grew 1400%. If the company continues to grow 14 times its size every 5 years, by mid-June in 2050, the entire world will be a part of Asayo Creative.
For now, however, we couldn't be more happy with the current team we've assembled. With some of the area's top design talents and a group comprised of individuals with experience in a variety of fields, the Asayo team has the knowhow and experience to tackle any project.
You can learn more about the new (and not-so-new) Asayo staff by visiting our Team Page.

Have a happy and prosperous new year from your friends at Asayo Creative!
A new year brings new projects, new events and in Asayo's case, even more additions to our growing clientele. Some of our new clients are working with an established brand that just needs a "refresher", while others have reached out to Asayo to build the brand from the ground up, starting with a new logo. The logos below are examples of just a few of the companies for whom we've recently developed new (or re-designed) logos.

Continuing a tradition that has spanned five years, Asayo Creative once again will be a sponsor of the WVU Children's Hospital Annual Gala, a black-tie event and fundraising auction that benefits the patients of Children's Hospital and their families. The 10th annual gala fundraiser will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Morgantown Event Center at Waterfront Place.
Asayo Creative, aside from being a sponsor for the event, is thrilled to attend the event, which is one of the few times each year when we get to dress up...
The evening will begin at 5:30 pm with a cocktail and hors d'oeuvre reception. During this time, guests will have the opportunity to bid on many wonderful auction items. The WVU Children's Hospital program will be followed by dinner and the live auction. The evening will be topped off by spectacular live entertainment by 90s R&B trio, En Vogue. We hope to see you there!

Asayo Creative is pleased to announce that trucking and logistics powerhouse Smith Transport is working with our team to develop a new website for Smith's Well Services Division. Smith is one of America's leasing trucking and logistics companies, and with its Well Services Division, they hope to become a trusted name and leader in energy transportation, in addition to the many and varied services offered by their other divisions. Look for the new Smith Transport Well Services Division site to launch in the coming weeks!
As oil and gas drilling and exploration moved into Ohio with the emergence of Utica Shale drilling in the state, Asayo Creative proudly sponsored the 2012 Ohio Oil and Gas Association Oilfield Expo. A gold sponsor at the event, Asayo Creative also provided its services as a technology partner and application developer for the event, hosted by the OOGA team. This event is the largest of its kind in Ohio. For more information, visit OOGA.org.
In 2011, its first year in existence, the WV Oil and Gas Expo sold out the interior space in Mylan Park Expo Center in Morgantown. With nearly 300 exhibits and over 2,000 total attendance in 2011, the Expo became the state's largest industry event in its first year.
The 2012 Expo, which will be held on October 3, 2012, has big shoes to fill (considering the success of last year's event) but with more booths, more top decision makers and more industry insiders, the 2012 event is poised to be even more successful than its predecessor.

Clear Mountain Bank recently launched two separate campaigns, capping off one of its busiest summers to date. In August, the bank opened a new branch in the Suncrest section of Morgantown, giving its business bankers a more convenient location as well as local 24 hour ATM. Simultaneously, Clear Mountain Bank also unveiled their much anticipated Mobile Banking App to its customers. The response on both campaigns exceeded expectations and both Mobile Banking and the new location are now in full swing.
Take that to the bank.

Well, one thing is for sure — time flies! It feels like just last week that Chris Shoff and I developed the idea of working together and taking on the world of business. After a long deliberation in an attempt to find the perfect name, we eventually just created our own, and thus Asayo Creative was born. While the end of 2006 and beginning of 2007 remained pretty low key, all it took was an evening jog with friend (and soon-to-be client) Nick Onderko of Blue Mountain Equipment to give the final push to open Asayo full-time in Morgantown, WV.
On August 1, 2007, Asayo opened it first office on the 3rd floor of the Mon Arts building in conjunction with Main Street Morgantown's business development initiative. Our office of one — AKA Me — was set and underway. Within a year, we had hired our first full-time employee, Matt Linn, who is still rockin' strong with Asayo.
We quickly outgrew our space on High Street and moved to our office on Pleasant Street, where we stayed for two years. We outgrew the Pleasant Street office with the launch of STICK, LLC, and moved the office to Tyrone Road, allowing for more space for both Asayo and STICK. Looking to develop a more permanent residence for the companies, we built out our current office on Canyon Road. Finally, we are all set (at least for now).
Our most recent adventure finds us announcing the launch of Asayo Media, through the partnership and merger of Cluttered Concepts. Colleague and friend Chris Clutter will now head up the digital division of Asayo, offering commercial photography and digital video specifically focused on Brand films. The new division continues our dedication to offering the services our clients need to be successful, while eliminating the need for outsourcing.
We have learned a lot over the past five years and have enjoyed every moment of it. Each client, project, email, and event has molded us to become a unique and often notorious creative agency that enjoys pushing the limits and strives to be one of the region's most talented design and marketing teams.
Our team has broken down the last five years into a series of Top Five lists that help recap and acknowledge the past, present and future.
Enjoy.

MCI Group recently partnered with Asayo to create an online presence that emphasized their family of companies, vast amount of experience and industry knowledge. The site allows you to navigate throughout any of the four companies that make up MCI Group, including Preston Contractors, Mountaineer Contractors, Everson Resources, and Kittanning Contractors. The site utilizes a combination of onsite photography, project detail, and copy information to ensure the site is as informative as it is visual. In addition, Asayo provided a series of billboard artwork to promote the website.
Asayo Creative is pleased to announce the launch of its digital division — Asayo Media. The newest addition allowed long-time friend and colleague, Chris Clutter, to merge his company, Cluttered Concepts, to combine his services and capabilities to the Asayo arsenal. Asayo Media will specialize in commercial photography and video production with an emphasis on Brand Films.
The merger was another step in being able to meet the demands of our clients and continue to offer our bold, creative services to enhance both our clients brand and online experience. Branding Films are the next wave in your online experience and can not only enhance your viewership, but generate traffic through media channels never before utilized.
Asayo Creative recently donated its web design services to E4p, Inc., a not-for-profit organization dedicated to poverty eradication both locally and globally.
E4p and the WVU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee hosted a fundraising event on April 22 entitled "Paying It Forward", a community day with the WVU Student-Athletes, to benefit more than 100 families in Malawi, Africa through the construction of a water pump and irrigation system in their village.
E4p's Natalie Committee worked with Asayo Creative to develop a website to raise awareness for the event and for E4p's humanitarian goals. After the April 22 event, Committee traveled to Malawi to see E4p's goal come to fruition.
Asayo Creative was honored to donate its services to such a noble cause, and hopes to continue its support of E4p and its ideals in the future.

"Asayo offered us the perfect balance--allowing E4p to take ownership of the site design, but also offering creative solutions when needed," said Committee. "The website allowed us to advertise the event in a way that no other medium could. Asayo turned a work project into an enjoyable, collaborative experience, and we look forward to any opportunity to work with them in the future!"
Asayo Creative is pleased to announce the upcoming rebranding of the West Virginia Healthy Babies program. West Virginia Healthy Babies is a joint effort between WVU Children's Hospital and Kohl's Healthy Kids University program and is designed to provide new and expecting parents across the state of West Virginia with education and support related to parenting, infant care and development, and community programs. The rebrand includes a new logo for the program in addition to a full web redesign.
Asayo Creative will redesign the current Healthy Babies Website to update the site with a fresh new look and an easier-to-navigate interface to improve the interactivity and usability of the site as an education center and web portal catering to the needs of new parents in West Virginia. The site renovation will accompany radio and TV campaigns, designed also to raise awareness of the program and to attract new and prospective parents to learn parenting tips, skills and techniques.

Check Asayo's news often to learn of the launch of the site renovation -- coming June 2012.
It's that time of year again! Asayo Creative and sister company Stick LLC will be exhibiting at the Tri County Oil and Gas Expo, which will be held on May 19, 2012 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds, Washington, PA.

Every client has different needs in the development of their website. Oil & Gas Safety Supply (OGSS), a PPE provider for the entire Marcellus and Utica Shale regions, approached Asayo with a vision for a website that will serve as an online gateway to the company's enormous catalog of protective equipment, apparel and accessories.
With an event quickly approaching, the Asayo team worked close with the OGSS team to outline separate phases for the site's development, that would allow OGSS to promote their new web presence at the event without having the site look incomplete or Under Construction. As such, Asayo has created separate phases of the site. The first phase included the bulk of the information they wished to display on their final site, but certain areas of the site (the product catalog, for example) were simplified in order to launch the site prior to the event. As phase two unfolds, the page structure and content will evolve into the full site that the OGSS team envisioned.
Take a few seconts to view Phase One of the Oil and Gas Safety Supply website to see the initial structure. Check back in the coming weeks to see the site evolve into its fully-realized form.
As a team of artists, Asayo Creative has always been an ardent supporter of the artistic community. As the Morgantown staple Arts Alive (formerly Arts on the River) Festival discussed an updated brand, it looked to Asayo for its guidance, which included the development of a new logo, website and other needed materials for the event.
The new Arts Alive on the River festival has a fully-redesigned, CMS-based website that the Arts Alive staff can control on their own. The event, taking place the weekend of June 8 - 10, 2012, is a family-friendly event that with many great artists displaying their work in a wide variety of media. There's something for everyone! Check out their website to learn more.
With the recent news and increased business activity in Eastern Ohio, Asayo Creative has been invited to participate in a couple business to business seminars focused on shaping your business for the oil and gas industry. The two events, in St. Clairsville and Canton, Ohio, present a variety of business presentations hitting the main points for understanding the industry boom. Regardless of your beliefs, the Marcellus and Utica Shale offer tremendous business potential in the region, but companies must adapt to the standards and values required to do business. Asayo's president Damian Ferek discusses "Getting Noticed and Making Sales" with his 45 minute presentation that features a variety of key marketing elements and relevant case studies. The seminars are in conjunction with Shale Directories and the Ohio Oil and Gas Association ( OOGA) along with the St. Clairsville and Canton Chamber of Commerce. Asayo has had the opportunity to speak throughout the Tri-State region, helping attendees learn about the value of marketing and consistency.
Asayo Creative is never shy about getting involved and helping with the community. We have worked directly with several great causes in the region including Children's Hospital, Strides Breast Cancer Walk, Hurry Home Hounds Greyhound Rescue, Warm Hearts-Warm People, and March of Dimes to mention a few. This year, we are taking it a step further as Asayo's Damian Ferek and Kim Johnson are volunteering to coordinating the Walk MS Fairmont in conjunction with the MS Society.
Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic and unpredictable disease that effects the central nervous system. Approximately 400,000 American's suffer from MS, including Damian's father, who was diagnosed in 1991.
Please join us on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Charles Point in Bridgeport, West Virginia as we both raise the awareness and help fund cutting-edge research to cure MS. You can learn more about the event at www.WalkMSFairmont.com or by calling the Asayo Creative office at 304.413.0100. We look forward to seeing everyone there, and thank both our local and national sponsors for helping to make the event a possibility.
Central Pennsylvania powerhouse Allegheny Trucks contacted Asayo Creative to create a new brand identity for 2012. Allegheny Trucks, who has evolved into a complete one-stop-shop for commercial trucking was looking for their first online presence in addition to a more fitting logo and print collateral. Founded in 1978, they are an authorized International Trucks dealer and service shop, but can also offer body shop services, towing, parts and tires. Wanting to focus their brand on their traditional royal blue color scheme, Asayo helped provide a more unified sales approach with their oversized sales kit, vehicle wraps and online presence. Be sure to check out their website at www.AlleghenyTrucksPA.com, or stop in and visit their facility in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
We are no stranger to the Oil and Gas boom that has swept our region by storm, and we find ourselves only getting more involved with its regional growth. Most recently, Asayo Creative has partnered with the Belmont County Commissioners and Port Authority to both Brand and Market the Ohio Valley Regional Oil and Gas Expo. Through our experience with the West Virginia Oil and Gas Expo that was hosted by Asayo Creative and founded by President Damian Ferek, our services and experience will be beneficial to the growth and success of the event.
Asayo developed the expo's branding that will be featured throughout the region as the event is becoming the center of attention with the national exposure of the hopeful Ethane Cracker location. Be sure to check out the cover of ONG's March publication for the full page ad on the event. And be sure to join us on April 25, 2012 in St. Clairesville, Ohio for the first annual event. Log onto www.OhioValleyOilGasExpo.com for more information or to register. And yes- Asayo manages the website for the event as well. Ohio or Bust!

The new facility feature nearly 6,000 sq. ft. of space for both companies, including a individual offices, a larger conference room, and plenty of room for growth. We also added a little style to the place in Asayo/ Stick fashion. In addition, the space has a 1,700 sq. ft. garage bay for Stick, giving them plenty of space to apply our designs to whatever vehicle you can bring in.
Asayo is very happy to have signed a long term deal for our complex and looks forward to the growth potential it offers. Be sure to check out some of the photos or we invite everyone to stop in, grab a cup of coffee and see our new digs in person. See you then.
